2011 was a big one for us! It will definitely be remembered as a wonderful year. A few of our favorite highlights:
- We got engaged in January!
- We started planning a wedding: dates, dresses, flowers, cakes... etc.
- In an addition to getting engaged and planning a wedding my sweet husband ran a couple of half-marathons (the A2A, Memorial and Route 66)
- He also worked on his MBA at OBU. He is pretty amazing.
- We spent a big part of the year celebrating our engagement with friends and families.
- We attended and were in several of our best friends weddings.
- Oh yea, I turned the big 3-0!
- We supported the Thunder and the Sooners.
- We got Married!
- I got a Mr.
- And a new last name - Hello Mrs. Dickinson! (Which also means I got a new email, drivers license, social security card, passport, new office door, and the list goes on.)
- We honeymooned to St. Lucia. I want to go back...
- We celebrated our first holiday season as Mr. and Mrs.
- And we ended the year by signing a contract on a new home on Christmas Eve Eve!
After writing this I want a say a prayer of thanks and take a nap! It was a very exciting blessed year and I cannot wait to see what 2012 holds.
